Ofcom in the nations and regions
Ofcom works on behalf of people across the whole UK, its nations and regions.
We have a duty to take into account the views and interests of people in different parts of the UK.
Ofcom has offices in Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh – each with a team for the respective nation, led by a senior director. Our headquarters are based in London, and we also have a regional office in Manchester – a tech hub with a focus on online safety work.
An advisory committee in each nation provides Ofcom with detailed and expert insights into the particular challenges faced by citizens and consumers in different parts of the UK. National interests are also represented by members of Ofcom's Content Board and the Communications Consumer Panel.
