Consultation: Proposal to revoke Code Powers

We are proposing to revoke the directions applying the Code to the following companies who have notified us that they no longer require Code powers and wish for their Code powers to be revoked: 

Affiniti Integrated Solutions Ltd, Affinity Systems Limited, Axione UK Limited, GCI Network Solutions Limited, Lightning Fibre Limited, Meliora Networks Limited, NGE Contracting Limited, Obelisk Networks (UK) Limited, Secure Web Services Limited, Transmitair Limited, Trenches Wayleave Ltd, and Utilitas Power Ltd.

We are also proposing to revoke the directions applying the Code to the following companies, which have either been closed or dissolved and, consequently, are no longer the provider of an electronic communications network and/or system of infrastructure:

Broadway Partners Limited; Genesys Telecommunications Limited, Omne Telecommunications Limited, People’s Fibre Ltd, Spring Fibre Limited, Sprintlink UK Ltd, and Westnetworks Innovations Ltd.

In accordance with section 107(6) and (7) of the Act, we invite comments on our proposal by 25 September 2026.

We will consider any responses to this consultation before reaching a final decision on whether to give directions revoking the application of the Code in these specified companies’ cases.
