Our Committees give advice to OFTEL, the government body which regulates telecommunications in the UK. Use the buttons below for links to full information on each Committee, and on how you can assist their work.

The various Committees aim to ensure that the regulator and the companies that supply your telephone network, communication services and equipment take account of the needs of all consumers.

To help customers compare the performance of the different telephone companies, the telecommunications companies and several consumer organisations, with support from OFTEL, the industry regulator, have developed a set of comparable performance indicators for a range of telecommunications services.
