Strategy for the Future Use of the Radio Spectrum in the UK (2002)

Foreword:
The Agency is today publishing the final version of the Sixth edition of the UK Spectrum Strategy. Printed and CD versions of UK Spectrum Strategy are now available from the RA Library.

Following publication of the final draft of the Strategy on the Agency's website on 22 October, a number of comments were received from radio users and other interested parties. The Agency very much welcomed these, and the Strategy has been amended in the light of these comments. A number of changes have also been made to reflect developments since October. In addition, a complete set of annexes is also being published with the Strategy, including a detailed frequency order table, covering the spectrum from 9KHz to 105GHz. The Agency proposes, in future, to publish regularly updated versions of the table, on the RA website, at least twice a year.

Comments on the Strategy, including the tables, will continue to be welcome and will be taken into account in preparing further editions. They should be sent to:
