Sara Nathan was appointed a Member of the
Radio Authority for four years from July 1999. Her term has recently
been extended to 31 December 2003.
Sara was Editor of Channel 4 News from 1995 to 1997. The programme won a number of awards during her editorship including a BAFTA for reports on war crimes in Srebrenica. Before that she was the first editor of The Magazine on Radio 5 Live. The Magazine won a Gold and a Silver Sony in its first year. Sara has worked across much of the BBC’s News and Current Affairs output on radio and television. |

Sara is married to Malcolm Singer who is Director of Music at the Yehudi Menuhin School. They have two children and live in Acton, West London. [footer.htm]
