Ofcom reaccredits Broadband Compared price comparison service

Ofcom has reaccredited the Broadband Compared price comparison service, which offers information to help people find broadband services that meet their needs.

The site provides details on broadband deals that are available. It also provides guides, news and broadband tools including a speed checker.

Ofcom first accredited the service in 2018.

Price comparison services help people to navigate the market, by providing the information they need to pick the right products and services for their needs.

Our accreditation means consumers can be satisfied that the information they’ve been given is clear, accurate and up to date, giving them the confidence to shop around.

Lindsey Fussell, Ofcom's Consumer Group Director

We are very proud of Broadband Compared’s renewed Ofcom accreditation.

Our continued focus on customer experience provides consumers with an effective service for navigating the vast telecoms market. Ensuring our service is in line with Ofcom’s requirements streamlines and enriches the experience, while offering consumers access to useful and important information so they may make an informed decision.

Mark White, director at UK Web Media (owner of Broadband Compared)
