- Start: 09 December 2021
- Status: Statement published
- End: 03 March 2022
Statement published 18 July 2022
Postal services play a key role in our society. They are used by almost everyone in the UK on a regular basis, from online shopping deliveries, to receiving important medical correspondence, to sending cards to friends and relatives.
This statement sets out Ofcom’s decisions on the regulation of postal services from 2022 to 2027. Our decisions aim to improve protection for consumers, support the financial sustainability and efficiency of the universal postal service and promote competition in the postal market.
